National Loyalty Program Budget Increased to 2,8 Billion TL!

Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that they increased this year's budget to 2,8 billion TL in order to carry out the National Loyalty Program more effectively and comprehensively.

Minister Göktaş stated that, with the National Loyalty Program, they did not leave alone the elderly, disabled and severely chronically ill citizens who were in need and could not meet their basic needs and cared for themselves.

Stating that the Ministry works to ensure that elderly and disabled citizens live healthy and active lives, Minister Göktaş said, "We continue our efforts to improve our social service models in line with the needs of our citizens and current conditions."

In this context, Minister Göktaş reminded that they transferred 1,6 billion TL to the National Loyalty Program last year to meet the basic and essential needs of elderly and disabled citizens and said, “We find it important that the care of our disabled and elderly citizens is provided at home in a way that preserves their family integrity. "In this regard, we increased this year's budget to 2,8 billion TL in order to carry out the National Loyalty Program more effectively and comprehensively," he said.

It is implemented throughout the country

Underlining that the teams will regularly visit the homes of disabled and elderly citizens and ensure their home and personal cleaning, Minister Göktaş stated that this resource will be transferred to the Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundations at certain periods for the support that has been transformed into a national program and implemented throughout the country.

Minister Göktaş noted that through the National Loyalty Program, they provide home and personal cleaning for elderly, disabled citizens who are in need and cannot meet their basic and essential needs with personal care, and citizens who cannot fulfill their own self-care due to severe chronic illness, and said, “From the National Loyalty Program, which we turned into a national program in August 2022. “Approximately 128 thousand citizens have benefited from it so far,” he said.

Stating that they continue their services to increase the participation of elderly and disabled citizens in social life and meet their needs, Minister Göktaş said, “We will continue our awareness activities to protect the living standards that our disabled and elderly citizens deserve. "We will always be there to meet all their needs," he said.
