Supreme Electoral Board Announced Ordu Decision

The Supreme Electoral Board (YSK) rejected the İYİ Party's objection to the Ordu elections due to complete illegality.

The Supreme Electoral Board (YSK) continues to evaluate the objections made within the framework of the 31 March Local Government General Elections. Within the framework of the objection process, İYİ Party made an extraordinary objection to the Supreme Electoral Council regarding the Ordu elections, claiming that 95 ballot box committee chairpersons were political party members, that there were no fold marks on many ballot papers, and that there were a majority of double-sealed votes.

In the board meeting today at 15.00, the extraordinary objection made by İYİ Party regarding the Ordu elections was discussed. At the meeting, he rejected İYİ Party's request for the cancellation and renewal of the Ordu Metropolitan Municipality elections due to 'complete lawlessness'.
