Şadi Özdemir, who was elected as the Mayor of Nilüfer by receiving 31 percent of the votes in the local elections held on March 59.66, received his certificate of election. Mayor Şadi Özdemir and his wife Nuray Özdemir, CHP Bursa Deputies Kayıhan Pala, Hasan Öztürk, CHP Bursa Provincial Chairman Nihat Yeşiltaş, Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Bozbey, Osmangazi Mayor Erkan Aydın, CHP Nilüfer, attended the certificate of registration ceremony held at Nilüfer Municipality Marriage House. Osmangazi, Yıldırım District Mayors and many party members and Council Members elected to Nilüfer Municipal Council attended.
Making a speech after the memorandum ceremony, Mayor Şadi Özdemir expressed his feelings. Mayor Şadi Özdemir, who started his speech by saying, "You are witnessing one of the most valuable and exciting moments of my life," said, "I received my certificate of registration in Nilüfer, the city of love, respect and solidarity. It is an honor to be the President of such a city. I witnessed Nilüfer's urbanization process closely and I would like to thank all the past presidents who served in this process. A new era is beginning for our Nilüfer and it is a great honor and happiness to be a part of this new era. The bar at the point we have taken in Nilüfer is very high. We will do our best to raise this bar higher. The people of Nilüfer supported us with 31 percent of the votes on March 59.66. I rolled up my sleeves to spend 5 years with success, without betraying the trust placed in me. I know it's a big burden on my shoulders. I already feel the weight of this burden. But I expect your support as I carry this burden.

Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Bozbey also took the floor at the ceremony and congratulated Şadi Özdemir and the newly elected council members.
