Mayor Dr. was elected Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor by the will of the nation in the Local Elections of 31 March 2024. After 5 years full of service and investment in the Metropolitan Municipality, Memduh Büyükkılıç took the first step into the new 5 years as the candidate who received the most votes in the center and all districts.
Stating that they will move forward hand in hand and wholeheartedly for a happy city and a happy Kayseri in the new 5 years with the support of Kayseri, Büyükkılıç also announced that he gave the first instructions for new projects.

Emphasizing that he gave the first instructions for the implementation of the investments, Mayor Büyükkılıç said:
“We have made tender preparations for some of our projects, and we will implement these investments one by one. In addition, I gave instructions for the Logistics Center project to be built on Kartal Katlı Junction and Ankara road in the field of transportation, which are the most important of our projects in the new period. I gave instructions to accelerate urban transformation projects in the context of resilient cities. Some districts had urgent tenders to be made, and I gave instructions for the necessary works regarding them. We have given instructions to our towns that have some expectations regarding natural gas to take initiatives. "We have given our instructions regarding the investments to be made by KASKI for their implementation."

Büyükkılıç stated that the projects related to the Alzheimer Center and Technology Hangar are also ready and said, “In this period, we will bring our social projects and youth-oriented projects to Kayseri. The instructions started to be implemented as of today. We are in love with service and work. Our team is experienced and friendly. From now on, we will be more diligent and hardworking. We will implement the promises we made to the public. "We continue on our way," he said.
