A group of 12 people from Mardin, who will join the Mediterranean Ship, which is planned to depart from Tuzla Shipyard on Friday and will be joined by the International Freedom Flotilla Coalition, formed by many non-governmental organizations from 4 countries, visited Mardin IHH.

Mardin IHH Branch President Sabri Deniz, who introduced the activists in the group who came together with IHH Volunteers here, said in his speech here, “The freedom fleet continues its preparations to take thousands of tons of humanitarian aid back on the road, with the participation of dozens of countries and hundreds of people. Our friends from Mardin will also be with us. Participants from more than 30 countries from different professions, including journalists, doctors, lawyers, professors and housewives, will be in the Freedom Flotilla. As IHH, we have been making great efforts to deliver humanitarian aid, especially to Gaza, after the genocide and massacre that has continued in the region since October 7. We are honored to activate this fleet today. As we send our ship to Gaza, we will continue to call Israel cruel in the loudest voice. We will not give up on our goal of Free Al-Aqsa Mosque. We, as the grandchildren of Saladin and Sultan Abdulhamid Khan, will not remain silent. "We will continue to pray and shout until the ships reach Gaza, deliver aid to the oppressed and honored Muslims and return." he said.

Then the activists gave a short speech expressing their feelings.

At the end of the program, Palestinian academician Prof. Dr. Abdulfettah Al-Awaisi gave a speech on Jerusalem, Gaza and the Fleet.

In his speech, Al-Awaisi congratulated the Activists from Mardin who will go to Gaza and gave some information to the participants about the region, the process and Gaza.
