Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu said that, with the National Electronic Notification service, PTT AŞ allows notifications to be instantly delivered to recipients electronically; He also explained that it provides savings in many areas such as time, labor and cost. Stating that they contributed to the protection of 5 thousand 126 trees in a 990-year period with the National Electronic Notification (UETS), Minister Uraloğlu noted that by expanding the service, they took important steps to save time and protect the environment.
Minister Uraloğlu emphasized that thanks to the 213 million electronic notifications sent via UETS, 7 billion 136 million 589 thousand TL public savings were made from the notification fee sent physically.
Minister Uraloğlu stated that when the factors affecting the cost such as labor force, paper used, toner, electricity, vehicle and fuel are taken into consideration, the amount of savings in question exceeds this figure and said that our country has achieved a significant amount of savings thanks to this system.
Pointing out that the UETS mobile application has also been put into service and explaining that electronic notifications can be easily viewed with the application, Uraloğlu said, “With the application, our citizens can instantly receive notifications about new notifications via their mobile phones. Notifications received via the mobile application can also be archived digitally. Our citizens are interested in UETS http://www.etebligat.gov.tr "From the page, you can open your UETS account, access the user manuals and view the electronic notifications received on your existing account," he said.

Meanwhile, with the new system put into operation at the beginning of 2024, Minister Uraloğlu explained that users can access their UETS accounts online from anywhere in the world by authenticating with the "two-stage login method" through their e-Government accounts, and emphasized that the system is provided with the highest level of security. Minister Uraloğlu said, “UETS applications can be opened online with electronic signature and mobile signature, as well as with the e-Government account. In addition to these methods, our citizens can obtain their UETS addresses by personally applying to the nearest PTT Directorates. "The received e-notification address is sent free of charge to the users' verified mobile phone or e-mail regarding electronic notifications, via SMS and e-mail," he said.
