When a journalist asked which picture he liked the most, Göktaş said, “Actually, I liked all of them very much. There are works that are more than just a 12-year-old child. I really liked the painting he called 'Tree of Life'. The tree of life is very valuable to us. “We were also impressed when he told his story.” he replied.

It is organized for the first time

Minister Göktaş, upon another journalist's question regarding the "Children's Summit", said, "As the Ministry, we are holding a Children's Summit for the first time. "The summit, which will start tomorrow and last for two days, under the auspices of the Presidency of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, will form an important basis for the creation of future child policies." He made a statement. Pointing out the importance of the summit to be held with the theme "Children and Childhood in the World of the Future", Göktaş stated that many politicians, academics and experts will participate in the program. Stating that children and young people will also take the floor at the Children's Summit, Göktaş continued: "We will organize various panels within the scope of the summit, but the most important element for us is that children have a say at the Summit. We live in a changing and transforming world. With digitalization, many things are changing in our lives. Children are also affected by this issue. We will discuss these at the summit. At the Children's Summit, current studies on children will be discussed, and the concept of childhood will be evaluated among applications that are digitalized with developing technology. Another aim of the summit will be to share effective information in the field of children, to prepare children for a safe future, and to raise society's awareness on this issue. Additionally, children affected by wars are among the issues to be discussed at the summit. We find the Children's Summit very important in terms of guiding our policies. "We will report the results of the summit and share it with the public."
