A Meaningful April 23 Celebration for Children from Uludağ Elektrik

Acting with social responsibility awareness while serving a population of over 5 million in Bursa, Balıkesir, Çanakkale and Yalova in the Marmara Region, which is the locomotive region of Turkey, Uludağ Elektrik celebrated April 23 with children at Bursa Gemlik Atatürk Primary School. Before the event, the children's paintings focusing on energy saving and efficiency for April 23 were exhibited at the school entrance, while posters on savings and electricity safety prepared by Uludağ Elektrik were hung on the school walls. While children had fun with the Karagöz Shadow Play, during the game, children were also given information on both savings and electrical safety, such as unplugging unused electrical appliances, not leaving unused lamps on, and not touching exposed cables. After the event, energy-themed books were distributed to children as holiday gifts by Uludağ Elektrik.

CHILDREN WERE BOTH INFORMED AND HAD ENTERTAINMENT

The April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day event, organized by Uludağ Elektrik at Gemlik Atatürk Primary School, witnessed entertaining moments. Children had the opportunity to learn important information about savings and electrical safety while having fun during the activities. Participating in the event and witnessing the fun moments of the children Uludağ Elektrik General Manager Remezan Arslan, “As Uludağ Elektrik, we serve a population of more than 5 million in our region. We care very much about our children, who are the future of our world. It is valuable for us to come together with them and tell them about energy efficiency and energy security through shadow play. In this context, we are happy to come together with children on April 23. "We aim to draw attention to this issue by making the savings-themed paintings made by our children more visible by exhibiting them in our Gemlik Regional Directorate," he said.
