Gölcük Municipality continues to reap the fruits of its support for sports with its successes. Gölcük Belediyespor Young Men's Volleyball Team participated in the Türkiye quarter-final matches held in Bolu. Gölcük Belediyespor defeated its 3 opponents and advanced to the finals as the champion.
Another success in the district in the field of sports came from Gölcük Martyr Corporal Adem Başoğlu Secondary School Football Team. The football team participated in the semi-finals held in Yalova and became the champion by beating all its opponents. The team advanced to the finals with the championship and became a source of joy in the school and the district.
