Gendarmerie Inspected Buses Disguised as Passengers

Bolu Provincial Gendarmerie Command Traffic Branch Directorate teams inspected vehicles transporting passengers in order to ensure that citizens travel safely.

Gendarmerie teams in Bolu's Mudurnu district tightened their inspections before Ramadan Feast. Traffic control points were established by the teams at the entrance and exit points of the city. In addition, traffic personnel wearing civilian clothes and traveling as passengers in the buses observed the drivers about mobile phone use, seat belts and traffic rules while driving. The bus that was inspected was stopped at the checkpoint and the gendarmerie personnel in civilian clothes traveling in the vehicle introduced themselves to the passengers and gave warnings. The gendarmerie personnel thanked the bus driver for complying with the rules and stated that the passengers should also wear seat belts.
