Trabzon Saudi Arabia Direct Flights Will Start on June 4

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu stated that direct flights between Trabzon and Saudi Arabia will start on June 4, and said, “In the flights that will take place during the summer period, it will be possible to travel to both Jeddah and Riyadh with direct flights from Trabzon. With these flights, both Trabzon tourism and economy will develop and the country's economy will be revitalized. "It will also be a great convenience for our citizens who will perform Hajj and Umrah trips," he said.

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu gave information about the direct flights that will be operated between Turkish Airlines and Trabzon and Saudi Arabia in the summer period. Minister Uraloğlu announced that the flights to Saudi Arabia, which will start on June 4 with the Trabzon-Jeddah flight, will end in the summer period with the Riyadh flight on Monday, September 30, 2024.

There will be 5 trips per week

Underlining that the flights will be repeated throughout the summer period with the same days, times and flight numbers in weekly periods, Minister Uraloğlu said, “There will be 5 weekly flights from Trabzon to Jeddah and Riyadh. Our planes will depart from Trabzon Airport at 09.55 on Tuesdays and Thursdays and at 09.15 on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. "The expeditions will make a great contribution to both tourism and economy of our country," he said.

Reminding that Turkey and Saudi Arabia switched to the Electronic Visa application as a result of the negotiations between Turkey and Saudi Arabia, Uraloğlu said, “With the electronic visa application, our citizens can obtain a visa in less than 5 minutes or can complete the visa process when they go to any airport in Saudi Arabia. will be able to realize it. In this way, our citizens from Trabzon will be able to go to Jeddah and Riyadh as if they were traveling intercity. In addition, the start of these flights, together with the visa convenience between Turkey and Saudi Arabia, will make a significant contribution to the tourism and trade of the cities in the region, especially Trabzon. "Thousands of tourists will come to Trabzon from Riyadh and Jeddah with mutual flights," he said.

Minister Uraloğlu underlined that Turkish citizens can visit all regions and cities in Saudi Arabia, as well as Mecca and Medina, with an electronic visa and said:
