Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Council, which took office after the March 31 Local Government General Elections, held its first meeting of the 2024-2029 period as soon as the Eid al-Fitr ended. There were 20 agenda items at the meeting chaired by Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu. The issue of "Assistance to be given to retirees and those who have given birth who meet the appropriate conditions", which Mayor Çavuşoğlu promised to the people of Denizli, entered the first Parliament meeting as an additional agenda item with the motion of the CHP group. First, the Assembly elected the commissions that would discuss the relevant agenda items, as well as deputy chairmen, clerk members and council members. Following the elections, the relevant items were transferred to the selected commissions for discussion. The issue of "Assistance to be given to retirees and those who have given birth who meet the appropriate conditions" promised by President Çavuşoğlu was referred to the Planning and Budget Commission and the Legal Commission.
Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu stated that they stand behind all the promises they made to the people of Denizli. Stating that the aid they will provide to eligible retirees and those who have given birth did not arrive on April 10 due to official procedures, Mayor Çavuşoğlu said, “As soon as the Eid al-Fitr ended, we gathered our Assembly and our first action was to put the issue of aid on the agenda. No one should have any doubt that we will fulfill our promise. "After our commissions complete their work, we will discuss the issue in our Assembly, which will meet on May 14, and we will provide support to our citizens who meet the appropriate conditions before Eid al-Adha," he said.
Support will be valid from the date of receipt.
Noting that the date of financial support they will give to those who have given birth is the day they receive their certificate of certificate, Mayor Çavuşoğlu said, “Our fellow citizens should not worry at all. The support we will provide to mothers who give birth will be valid from the date we receive our certificate of registration on April 4. We will also make our retroactive payments. We will carry out a process together that brings different colors together, not one that divides. "We will take Denizli better and more beautiful together and we will write a success story together," he said.
