Child Police Officers Control Traffic in Ankara

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Children's Council 28th Term Members; With the cooperation of Ankara Police Department Traffic Inspection Branch Directorate and its teams, the "Child Police Officers Inspect the Traffic" application was carried out at the 15 July Red Crescent National Will Square and gave important messages to the citizens on behalf of safe traffic flow.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Children's Council 28th Term Council Members signed the "Child Police Officers Inspect the Traffic" application at the Red Crescent National Will Square on 15 July. The inspections were carried out accompanied by police teams from Ankara Police Department Traffic Inspection Branch Directorate.

Every year, the police officers met with the traffic police in order to attract attention to the traffic rules.

While the traffic inspections, which were implemented with the decision of the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Children's Council, were carried out in cooperation with the Ankara Police Department Traffic Inspection Branch Directorate, Children's Council Members from the Capital city carried out pedestrian and vehicle traffic inspections around Kızılay Güvenpark.

Junior police officers, wearing their uniforms and hats, carry out practical inspections in Kızılay and send important messages to the citizens with slogans such as "Traffic culture develops with respect, not with laws", "Seat belts are our bond with life", "Thieves take our property, speed takes our lives" and "You cannot trample my right to live with your tires". They gave.

Members of the ABB Children's Council, who went on inspections in the capital accompanied by traffic police to raise awareness, expressed their thoughts with the following words:

Zeyra Kaleli: “Those who do not obey the traffic rules can also be harmed by those who obey the rules, and sometimes it can even lead to life-threatening situations. Children in the vehicle are also negatively affected by arguments in traffic. Therefore, it is very important to be respectful in traffic.”

Miray Eroğlu: “Traffic rules are very important for people. If there were no traffic rules, accidents could happen. That's why everyone needs to obey traffic rules.”

Can Saykal: “We carried out a study here regarding pedestrians' compliance with traffic rules. We are currently conducting a study on vehicle drivers. In this way, while we learn the traffic signs and rules better, we also remind our elders of this.”
