Babil Water Sports Center, located in Mezitli District and built on an area of ​​340 square meters; All sports such as surfing, water skiing, sailing, canoeing and rowing are offered. The center consists of 2 separate buildings, one of which has a closed area of ​​110 square meters and is designed for Canoeing and Rowing, while the other building is designed for the use of Sailing athletes. There is a separate administrative section in the center for Canoe-Rowing athletes with a 120-meter indoor area. In order to store the materials cleanly and safely, the center has a 30 square meter warehouse area, women's and men's changing rooms, as well as a WC and a shower cabin.

In the city, which offers opportunities for water sports and activities with its geographical location, climate and 321 kilometers of coastline, the Metropolitan Municipality aims to increase water sports and spread them to all age groups. Certified diving and lifeguard training approved by the Ministry of Youth and Sports will also be given at Babil Water Sports Center, which will ensure that sea and water sports, which have an important place in the development of children, are spread among younger age groups.
