Izmit Municipality, as every year, kept the enthusiasm of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day to the fullest this year. An award-winning painting competition with the theme 'Child in Atatürk's Footsteps' was organized within the Directorate of Women and Family Services. Primary and secondary school students sent their pictures with the theme 'Child in Atatürk's Footsteps' to Izmit Municipality. Izmit Mayor Fatma Kaplan Hürriyet presented the awards to the winning students.
