Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Yusuf Alemdar shared the holiday enthusiasm of the little ones on April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day. Alemdar attended the ceremony held at Osmanbey Primary School in Adapazarı Camili District.
Alemdar was accompanied by Governor Yaşar Karadeniz, Provincial Director of National Education Coşkun Bakırtaş, Chief Public Prosecutor Osman Köse, Adapazarı Mayor Mutlu Işıksu, educators, students and their families.
The program started with a moment of silence and the singing of the National Anthem, and the speech indicating the importance of the day was made by third grade student Hiranur Seyisoğlu. This speech was followed by poetry performances and local folk dances held at the school. Children experienced the joy of the holiday with anthems, songs and shows.

President Yusuf Alemdar, who shared the fun and joy of the children in the program followed by hundreds of parents, said, “We woke up to a holiday full of joy and excitement. This excitement and passion felt by our children became a symbol of hope for our country and our country. I congratulate each and every child of ours who feels and cherishes the love of the flag in their hearts. May the light in the eyes and the smile on the faces of our children, who are the architects of our future and the hope of all of us, never fade away. "I congratulate all our children on their holiday," he said.
President Alemdar and protocol members took souvenir photos with the little ones throughout the program to commemorate the holiday.
