AK Party MKYK Meeting Ended

AK Party MKYK convened under the chairmanship of President and AK Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

An intense agenda was discussed at the MKYK meeting chaired by President Erdoğan at the AK Party Conference Hall.

At the meeting, the results of the March 31 local elections, the tension between Israel and Iran, developments in Gaza under Israeli attacks and anti-terrorism operations were discussed.

After the meeting, AK Party SözcüÖmer Çelik made statements about the meeting.

Stating that President Erdoğan has evaluations regarding domestic and foreign policy, Sözcü Çelik said, “We stated that the tension in the region would rise even more as Netanyahu and his team pursued a policy of massacre. Somehow, Netanyahu and his team are pursuing a risky scenario so that a regional war will break out and the USA will be involved. "Everyone, including the United States, needs to exercise common sense here," he said.

Answering the questions of journalists, Çelik stated that they did not discuss any timetable for the change and said that the change will undoubtedly take place in a process deemed appropriate by President Erdoğan.
