Natural Stone Exporters' Xiamen Fair Was Successful

The 24th Xiamen Natural Stone and Technologies Fair, held in Xiamen, China, the largest meeting point of the world natural stone industry, was held on 16-19 March 2024.

İbrahim Alimoğlu, President of the Aegean Mineral Exporters Association, said, “This year, we successfully participated in the Xiamen Natural Stone and Technologies Fair held in China, our largest export market, with 87 companies. As in every Xiamen Fair, Turkey had the highest number of participants this year with 87 companies. More than 2 thousand participants from around the world such as Italy, Brazil, Egypt, Portugal, Iran, Pakistan, Greece, India and Vietnam were together at the fair. The fair attracted 4 thousand 151 visitors during the 845-day event. "Occupational Health and Safety Training Simulation with VR Glasses, which is the digital output of the European Union Project of our Aegean Mining Exporters Association, was also introduced in Chinese." said.

İbrahim Altınpınar, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Aegean Mineral Exporters Association, said, “There was great interest in the fair from buyers, designers, association delegations and consumers from India, Russia, Australia, South Korea, Thailand, USA, Malaysia, Turkey, Vietnam, China and foreign countries. We reached 2022 million dollars in natural stone exports to China in 419, and 2023 million dollars to China in 432. As the Turkish natural stone industry, we aim to export 1 billion dollars to China in the long term. “We are one step closer to this goal with the Xiamen Fair.” he said.
