Towards the End of the Bridge Construction in Darıca

Due to the fact that the existing Osmangazi Bridge in Darıca cannot accommodate the heavy traffic, the construction of the additional bridge, which was started by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, is nearing completion. The final layer of asphalt will be laid for the second bridge, which is planned to be opened in a very short time, when weather conditions allow.

THE FINAL COAT ASPHALT WILL BE LAYED

The Darıca Osmangazi Double Bridge construction work, which has come to an end with the intense work of the Department of Technical Affairs teams, is currently producing bridge auto and pedestrian railings and pavement. Metropolitan teams will lay the final layer of asphalt on the newly built bridge and connected roads in a very short time. After these procedures, Osmangazi Bridge will reduce the traffic load of the region by providing 2×2 service in its new form.

ACCESS TO INDUSTRY AND AŞIROĞLU STREET

The 205-meter-long, 7-span bridge will make access to Aşıroğlu Street and industrial areas in the region safer and more comfortable. Aşıroğlu Street and the Osmangazi Tunnel Junction connection road on the D-100 Highway will be converted into a 2×2 road. It will be crossed by a bridge over the TCDD line at the Marmaray Osmangazi Train Station location.
