Wheat obtained from the seeds of bread wheat varieties called Reis and Es 26, bred by the Geçit Kuşağı Agricultural Research Institute, has not only supported farmers and animal producers, but also turned into a major social project.
Bread wheat obtained by planting on an area of approximately 750 decares was processed in the factory and turned into flour.
Flour in 25-kilogram sacks was delivered as flour support to 3 households in need, as well as to those benefiting from the soup kitchen. The flour was delivered to those in need by Metropolitan Municipality officials. Citizens thanked the Metropolitan Municipality for the meaningful support given.
In addition, the sale of healthy and nutritious flours in 5 kilogram packages started at the Metropolitan Municipality Producer Markets located in the city center. Eskişehir residents can buy 5 kilograms of flour from Producer Markets.
