President Erdoğan: Türkiye is Rising as an Island of Stability

President and AK Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed the public at the rally held by his party in Cumhuriyet Square in Burdur.

“Emphasizing that no one knows what will happen tomorrow or where the crisis will break out, President Erdoğan stated that in the midst of all these conflicts, Turkey has risen as an island of stability.

Stating that tradesmen open their shops every morning with peace of mind, farmers plow their fields comfortably, and industrialists, merchants, business world and tourism professionals look at their future with hope, Erdoğan said, “Production in our factories and education in our schools continue without any disruptions. We do not experience any of the concerns just beyond our borders. When we look around us, we understand better what a blessing these are. Of course, when we say these, we do not say that everything in our country is milk and port. We know that Turkey, like every country in the world, has problems and problems that they are trying to solve. Türkiye is also affected by the conflicts in the region. Inflation rates, which have reached the peaks of the last 70 years in many places, including Europe and the USA, have put a strain on Turkey, like everyone else. In addition to all this, we also struggled with the difficulties caused by the February 6 earthquakes. "We are trying to heal the wounds of the earthquakes in which more than 53 thousand citizens died," he said.

Stating that the pressure caused by the earthquake, which had an economic cost of 104 billion dollars, on the Turkish economy still continues, he said, “We make all our calculations accordingly. In this year's budget, we allocated more than 1 trillion liras for earthquake studies. We spent approximately the same amount in the budget last year. This figure does not include the expenses of our municipalities, foundations and business world. "Even though some things are forgotten as time goes by, it is a fact that we, as a country and nation, are tested with a great test," he said.

“WE WILL INCREASE EARTHQUAKE RESIDENCES TO 200 THOUSAND BY THE END OF THE YEAR”

Emphasizing that no one will be at peace without restoring the earthquake zone, President Erdoğan said that they cannot turn their backs on the citizens whose houses were destroyed, whose order was disrupted, and who lost their spouses, children, mothers, fathers and relatives in the earthquake. President Erdoğan stated that the earthquake victims should be reunited with their new homes quickly, and noted that they delivered 30 thousand 723 earthquake residences and village houses to their rightful owners yesterday, thus bringing more than 76 thousand people together with their new homes. Stating that they will increase this number to 200 thousand by the end of the year, President Erdoğan said, “Similarly, we must rebuild our provinces hit by the earthquake. "As a state, our priority is the earthquake zone, to rescue our earthquake-affected citizens from the containers and place them in their homes." said.

President Erdoğan emphasized that they never neglected other cities and the citizens living there while concentrating on the earthquake zone, and said that their aim was to ensure a permanent increase in welfare.

President Erdoğan said, "We are concerned with growing and developing our cities and serving our people with love," and blamed the opposition by saying, "They are seeking to fill their pockets and secure their seats." Stating that they all see that there will be no benefit to Turkey and our nation from the current CHP administration, Erdoğan said, “For this reason, we only mind our business and focus on our business. “We are looking for ways to continue our service and work policy.” said.

“IT HAS TO BE EXPLAINED IN A TRANSPARENT MANNER FROM WHOM THESE BAGS FULL OF MONEY WERE TAKEN.”

On the other hand, President Erdoğan stated that no one could come up with a reasonable, logical and consistent sentence that would remove the clouds of doubt and said, “The worse part of the issue is that while all these discussions are continuing, the famous accounting expert is nowhere to be seen. You know who he is. The missing one is nowhere to be seen. They rented an apartment in Ankara, and he spends his time there. What did I say? I said 'bye bye Kemal'. Did what I said come true? No one can gloss over such a scandal by playing the three monkeys. No one can save themselves from this disgrace by attacking the right and left, by insulting them, and when that is not enough, by making the nation a partner in their own crime. "From whom these bags of money were received and where they were spent must be disclosed in a transparent manner, with documents and records." he said.
