Investment in Every Square Meter of Osmangazi

Osmangazi Mayor Mustafa Dündar, who has provided many services to the district during his 15 years of office, continues to create new places where citizens living in the district can breathe. Rolling up his sleeves to bring a park to the region in line with the demands of the citizens living in Selamet District, Mayor Dündar opened Skopje Park, which includes children's play groups, basketball court, sports equipment, benches and walking paths, on an area of ​​230 square meters. The park, which cost 1 million 200 thousand liras, was made available to the residents of Selamet District. AK Party Osmangazi District Chairman Adnan Kurtuluş, MHP Osmangazi District Chairman Kerim Gürsel Çelebi, Selamet Neighborhood Headman Erol Üsküplü and citizens attended the opening ceremony.

Stating that they responded to the citizens' demands immediately, Osmangazi Mayor and People's Alliance Presidential Candidate Mustafa Dündar said, “From here, I send my greetings to Skopje and the people of Skopje living here. We constantly visit our neighborhoods. We are together with our headmen and our people. Whatever the needs and demands of our neighborhoods are, we fulfill these requests. When the demands of our citizens reach us, we produce projects and realize them and contribute to the breathing of our neighborhoods by creating new living spaces. Parks are our places to gather and come together. The neighborhoods here were established 60 years ago. It was done without planning under the conditions of that day. Since there is a structuring outside the plans, it is very difficult to create a new service here. We have to expropriate in order to provide services. When this is the case, the cost of even the smallest service increases many times. "As Osmangazi Municipality, we determine the needs in the best way and use our budget appropriately without wasting it," he said.

“WE HAVE OVER 850 PARKS”

Stating that they built parks in every neighborhood in Osmangazi, Mayor Dündar said, “The area where we built Skopje Park was a place with a bad appearance. We have built many parks similar to this park in our neighborhoods. "We have over 850 parks in our Osmangazi district. May the newly opened Skopje Park be beneficial to our district and neighborhood," he said.

Selamet Neighborhood Headman Erol Üsküplü also thanked Mayor Dündar for his services on behalf of himself and the residents of the neighborhood.
