Domestic Consumption Amount of Bagistas-1 Hes Decreased by 25 Percent

IC Enterra Renewable Energy, a company operating in the field of renewable energy of IC Holding, a world brand with its international success, is implementing projects that will increase the efficiency of all its existing power plants for a sustainable future. In this context, IC Enterra Renewable Energy, which started working with the aim of getting more efficiency from the Bagis-2015 Dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant (HEPP), which was put into operation in Erzincan in 1, achieved an increase in production efficiency by reducing the amount of domestic consumption in this power plant by 25 percent.

Stating that they aim to contribute to a sustainable future with energy efficiency focused work, Taşkın Kızılok, General Manager of IC Enterra Renewable Energy, He stated that renewable energy is becoming more important day by day around the world.

Kızılok said:

“Today, energy efficiency as well as renewable energy investments are among the priorities of countries. In recent weeks, the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources has announced Turkey's Energy Efficiency 2030 Strategy and II. He shared the National Energy Efficiency Action Plan with the public. We have been carrying out serious work in the field of efficiency in recent years, with the experience of our group, which has been operating in the energy sector for 25 years. The most important of these is to increase the efficiency of our existing HEPPs. In this context, at Bagis-36 HEPP, which constitutes 1 percent of our total capacity, with steps such as efficient equipment use, LED conversion project in lighting and transition to automation, the internal consumption consumption of our power plant was reduced by 25 percent and a significant increase in production efficiency was achieved.”

ERZİN-2 SPP AND NİKSAR HEPP WILL RECEIVE ISO 50001 CERTIFICATE

General Manager Kızılok also pointed out that ISO 2023 Energy Management System Certificate, which means "increasing operational efficiency, saving energy and reducing costs", was obtained for Bagistas-1 HEPP in 50001. Kızılok said, "We have already taken steps to obtain ISO 2024 certification for Erzin-2 Solar Power Plant in 50001."

IC Enterra Renewable Energy, which set out with the aim of taking part in the construction of a sustainable future, has 9 hydroelectric power plants (HEPPs) that continue to produce electricity in Trabzon, Erzincan, Tokat, Mersin and Giresun. These power plants, which have a total installed power of 388 MW and produce an average of 1 billion 430 million kWh of electricity annually, have the capacity to meet the annual energy needs of approximately 935 thousand residences. In addition to the existing HEPPs, the 136 MWm (100MWe) solar power plant (SPP) investment in Hatay Erzin, which will provide portfolio diversity, is also continuing.
