İnegöl Mayor and People's Alliance Mayoral Candidate Alper Taban, who is preparing to build the new era with vision projects that will move the city forward in every field, appeared before the people of the district with projects that will bring the city to a new era in traffic and transportation and offer rational solutions to İnegöl traffic. Alternative public transportation projects, especially prepared under the title of transportation, were greatly appreciated.
Sharing the projects planned in the field of traffic and transportation for the 2024-2029 period, Mayor Alper Taban emphasized that they take the issue of transportation seriously and that the City's Traffic Master Plan is being studied with scientific studies in cooperation with the university and said, “Our city is growing rapidly. The population is increasing, the number of vehicles is increasing. For 2035, we tried to predict where İnegöl will be in the 15-year projection since we took office. We worked on this scientifically with our university and stakeholders. In 2035, the population of İnegöl is expected to be approximately 500 thousand and the number of vehicles is expected to be 160 thousand. We are currently in the 80 thousand band in terms of the number of vehicles. Therefore, we must take some steps within the scope of the Master Plan. "We prepared our 5-year plans in this direction," he said.
STEPS TO BE TAKEN IN PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Mayor Taban noted that within the scope of the Public Transportation Master Plan, steps will be taken to remove the organizations that create a parking burden out of the city and to publish Bursa Metropolitan Municipality's Where is My Bus application as a sub-breakdown specifically for İnegöl, and said, “In order to increase the transportation comfort of our citizens with the target of comfortable public transportation; "We aim to carry out various studies in cooperation with our relevant responsible organizations, such as making stops smarter, increasing the number of stops, optimizing routes, providing driver training, adding new vehicles to the fleet, increasing filling points, and increasing the number of trips," he said.
ELECTRIC BUS OR TRAMBUS LINE WILL BE ESTABLISHED
Reminding that in addition to these, there are works such as bringing new generation public transportation systems to the city and carrying out transportation-oriented master plan studies, Taban said, “We will continue our work in coordination with our stakeholder institutions to bring the high-capacity public transportation model and the trambus ring line system to our city in the field of alternative public transportation. . We offer alternative solutions in the field of transportation. We continue to produce solutions against the increasing number of vehicles. In this context, we will create a new transportation line with Electric Bus or Tambus, starting from Alanyurt Esentepe junction and going to Fatih Mosque. "We also aim to provide convenience in transportation by creating a new ring line surrounding İnegöl."
