Türkoğlu and Özeller Visited Dağder

İYİ Party Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Candidate Selçuk Türkoğlu and İYİ Party Osmangazi Mayor Candidate Orkun Özeller together with party organization managers within the scope of local election activities, İsmail Aydoğdu, President of Mountain Villages Solidarity and Culture Association (DAĞDER) Affiliated to Orhaneli-Keles-Büyükorhan-Harmancık-Osmangazi. and visited its Management.

“BURSA HAS BECOME AN IMPROVISED CITY WITHOUT A FUTURE PLAN”

During the visit at DAĞDER Cultural Center, İYİ Party Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Candidate Selçuk Türkoğlu emphasized that they are well versed in the problems of Bursa and the mountain region and that they have developed projects that will provide permanent solutions;

“Our mountain districts are struggling with problems that are becoming more and more Arab every day. Agricultural production has come to the point of extinction. Livestock farming is coming to an end. Our fellow citizens are left alone in the fight against inflation and high cost of living. Purchasing power is decreasing day by day. However, income is not increasing. Promises made to Bursa were not kept. Even though promises are made that the Orhaneli-Doğancı Tunnel will be completed every year, it cannot be completed. Bursa is our third largest city contributing to the country's economy in terms of its export potential. A city of history and culture that has hosted many civilizations. It is like a rare pearl with its natural beauty. However, it has been left orphaned in the hands of incompetent administrators. The legend of Green Bursa is being sacrificed for profit and being transformed into Concrete Bursa. Who will answer for Doğan Bey and the profit in Down Town? This city does not have a constitution or even a plan. "The city lives in improvisation," he said.

“A GOOD FUTURE AWAITS BURSA”

Pointing out that Bursa is being managed with an incompetent management approach, Selçuk Türkoğlu stated that one of the most important problems of the city is the increase in the number of refugees and said:

“280 thousand refugees live in Bursa. According to Ministry of Health data, refugees give birth to many children every year. This is a very important National Security Issue. While our young people are experiencing a brain drain due to despair, investing so much in refugees is a betrayal of the future of the country. Today, no one in Turkey believes that they can settle somewhere without any problems. I ask the people of Bursa: Is there a single vision project of Alinur Aktaş that you can say is this? We know the answer. Absolutely not. You cannot show a single achievement from this period. Hopefully, when we take office, we will govern Bursa with an accountable, merit-based approach, producing projects rather than words, providing service without alienating anyone, and with a clean and honest understanding of politics. Our message to our fellow citizens is clear: A GOOD future awaits Bursa with us. With these feelings and thoughts, I would like to thank DAĞDER President Mr. İsmail Aydoğdu and the members of the Board of Directors, of whom I am honored to be a member and whose existence is very important for our region, for their sincere interest and kind hosting.”

“THE GOOD PEOPLE WILL MANAGE OSMANGAZI”

Speaking after Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Candidate Selçuk Türkoğlu, İYİ Party Osmangazi Mayor Candidate Orkun Özeller stated that they will change the face of Osmangazi and the mountain region with their investment and development-oriented projects and works.

“We promise to provide services to our citizens living in the mountain region that no district mayor has ever provided or even imagined. We see great interest and favor everywhere we go. When we take office, none of our children will go to bed hungry. We will not condemn our elderly and retired people to harsh economic and social conditions. Every citizen living in our district will not encounter a management approach that victimizes them by using the economic crisis as an excuse. Because we will not condemn the municipal budget to high advertising budgets and unnecessary investments. We will spend the expenditures made here for the peace and welfare of our citizens. We will adopt an honest and clean management approach. We will eliminate refugees from being a problem for our district. We will fight effectively against substance addiction, which especially enslaves our youth. Our district is at risk of earthquake. Based on this fact, we will initiate urban transformation projects that will minimize the risk of earthquakes and build reliable houses surrounded by greenery. We will carry out all these studies by producing common sense together with our public institutions and organizations, NGOs, local government representatives and citizens. "We promise our citizens: Osmangazi will be governed by GOOD people," he said.

DAĞDER Chairman İsmail Aydoğdu, who hosted the visit of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Candidate Selçuk Türkoğlu and Osmangazi Mayor Candidate Orkun Özeller, said in his statement, drawing attention to the mistakes made in Bursa's building planning; “Is a comprehensive study carried out against all kinds of risks during construction planning? "Also, are plans and permits determined according to socio-economic status?" asked.

“WE ARE EXPERIENCED A MAJOR CULTURAL CRIMINATION”

DAĞDER President Aydoğdu emphasized that while construction permits are easily given to those who are socio-economically strong, many difficulties are caused to citizens, especially those living in mountain regions, when building houses even on their own land.

“These discriminatory practices need to be abandoned. As residents of the mountain region, we do not want to benefit from the signs of equal citizenship only during election periods. We want our region, which is very important for the economic and cultural existence of Bursa, to be given the value it deserves. We are facing a great cultural decimation. We emigrate a lot abroad. We consider cultural property only in terms of structure. However, we have a deep-rooted culture transferred from Central Asia to the present day. Our people do not have the awareness to protect their own culture. We are fighting for cultural protection and survival. Unfortunately, even those who govern our districts are not sufficiently aware of the awareness of protecting cultural heritage. Bursa is a province bearing the names of its two founding leaders (Osmangazi and Mustafakemalpaşa). Therefore, you cannot treat Bursa as an ordinary city. Those who govern our country and our city should now realize this. We are experiencing a contamination of consciousness. By moving away from our own culture, we struggle to exist in a culture to which we do not belong. We do not have a vision of the future. We need to shake ourselves up and come to our senses. We must protect our historical and cultural heritage, which hosts many civilizations. Because we are representatives of the historical and cultural awareness that made Anatolian lands a homeland,” he said.
