Million Dollar Contribution to the National Economy from the Raw Milk Marketplace

Pazaryeri Development Cooperative, which established raw milk collection centers in Pazaryeri district with the 2018 thousand lira support they received from Bursa Eskişehir Bilecik Development Agency (BEBKA) in 500, collects 8 tons of raw milk from member farmers every day and contributes 4 million lira to the country's economy every month.

Erkan Karakaş, President of the Cooperative, which has approximately 200 members, stated that their projects are supported by BEBKA and that they continue to serve cooperative member farmers with raw milk collection centers in 24 villages, including the district center.

While BEBKA officials inspected the raw milk collection facilities, the officials received information about the operation and equipment of the cooperative from Erkan Karakaş, President of the Agricultural Development Cooperative.

Thanking BEBKA officials for their support, Mayor Karakaş stated that with the support of BEBKA, Pazaryeri Raw Milk Quality Improvement Project and 2018 Feed Silage packaging facility were implemented in 2022 and these facilities were made available to the members.

Stating that the work has started to implement the Dairy Products processing and packaging project in 2024, Mayor Karakaş said that, as Pazaryeri Agricultural Development Cooperative, they will continue to meet the needs of member farmers in agricultural and livestock fields.
