'Küllüoba Excavation Photography Exhibition' Opened with a Ceremony in Eskişehir

The "Küllüoba Excavation Photography Exhibition", consisting of archive photographs depicting the work carried out between 1996 and 2023 in Eskişehir Küllüoba Mound, and frames reflected from the lenses of photographers from Eskişehir, was opened with a ceremony.

The Küllüoba Mound excavation, supported by Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality and Halk Ekmek A.Ş., has been completed after 27 years. Reflecting the situation to the public at the end of the excavation process that lasted more than a quarter of a century, Prof. Dr. The works carried out during the Küllüoba Excavation, which started under the direction of Turan Efe, until 1996, were presented to the people of Eskişehir with the "Journey to a 2023-Year-Old City Hidden by the Soil: Küllüoba Excavation Photography Exhibition".

The exhibition includes archive photographs from the first period of the excavation, found photographs of the artifacts unearthed during the excavation, and photographs taken by amateur photographers from Eskişehir during the excavations.

Speaking here, Deputy Metropolitan Mayor Hasan Ünal congratulated those who contributed to the exhibition, while CHP Metropolitan Mayor Candidate Ayşe Ünlüce said, “We will continue our support for the work in this important area in our Seyitgazi district, as we have done so far. "I congratulate everyone who contributed to the work and the exhibition, especially our excavation leaders, and I invite all my fellow citizens to see this important exhibition." said.

Art lovers will be able to see the exhibition at the Metropolitan Municipality City Museums Complex Exhibition Hall until February 20.
