Chinese Coast Guard Removed Philippine Ship!

China Coast Guard SözcüGan Yu stated that on February 22-23, a ship numbered 3002 belonging to the Philippine General Directorate of Fisheries and Aquaculture was removed from the region by the Chinese Coast Guard because it tried to enter the waters near Huangyan Island without permission, despite repeated warnings from China.

Gan Yu stated that the Chinese Coast Guard ship removed the Philippine ship from the area in accordance with the law and that these actions were in accordance with standards, legal, reasonable and proportionate. Emphasizing that the Philippines' actions seriously violate China's sovereignty, international law and basic norms of international relations, Gan Yu stated that they called on the Philippines to immediately stop the violations and that China reserves the right to take further control measures.

Gan Yu noted that China has undisputed sovereignty over Huangyan Island and the surrounding waters, and the China Coast Guard operates in accordance with the law in the waters under China's jurisdiction to protect national sovereignty and maritime rights.
