Manisa Metropolitan Municipality's fertilizer support program for producers continued with Gördes district. A total of 1004 tons of fertilizer were delivered to 230 producers in Gördes at the ceremony. TOTAL 3150 TONS OF FERTILIZER SUPPORT
Stating that their support for producers continues, Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Cengiz Ergün said, “We have always considered our farmers as our crown jewel. With our productive municipalism approach, we have provided great and important support to agricultural and rural development since Manisa became a metropolitan city. Last year alone, we allocated around 150 million liras from our budget to our farmers. As part of our 2024 support, we continue the 1.850 tons of fertilizer distribution ceremonies that we started in Manisa today in Gördes district. Our fertilizer support was a total of 2022 tons in 2023 and 1.300. When we include this year's 1.850 tons of support, we will distribute 3.150 tons of fertilizer in total. "I hope my Lord will give us abundant crops," he said.
SUPPORT OF 9 MILLION 435 THOUSAND TL TO GORDESLI PRODUCERS
Explaining the supports for agricultural and short-term development in Gördes, Mayor Ergün said, “In addition to our fertilizer support, to our Gördes district; 57 Greenhouses, 62 Tons of Cereal and Forage Plant Seeds, 88 Thousand 630 Fruit Saplings, 13 Thousand 550 Plastic Crates, 9 Thousand 100 Plastic Baskets, 1.780 Olive Collection Cloths and Grape Display Cloths, 71 Breeding Rams and Goats, We provided many services to our farmers, such as 20 Agricultural Machines, 2 Taral Filling Facilities, 32 Animal Drinking Water Pond Construction, 72 Animal Drinking Water Pond Cleaning, and 3 meters of PVC pipe support to irrigation cooperatives. "With all these mentioned above, we, as Manisa Metropolitan Municipality, have provided support to our Gördes farmers amounting to 604 million 9 thousand liras so far," he said. 
10 MILLION TL AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY IS COMING
Stating that their support for farmers will never end, Mayor Ergün said, “Soon, we will deliver 24 tons of fertilizer, for which we allocated a budget of 50 million 1.004 thousand liras, which will benefit a total of 230 producers. I believe that this contribution, which we will provide with 50 percent grant support from our Metropolitan Municipality, will be an important lifeline for our farmers. Our support will not be limited to this. The metropolitan city will always support its farmers. Be sure of this. We started the process of purchasing new machinery and equipment within the scope of our Agricultural Machinery Park Project. "We will also provide approximately 10 million liras of support for our neighborhoods and women's cooperatives," he said.
COACH SUPPORT, MILKING HYGIENE KIT AND BEEKEEPING SUPPORTS
Stating that the new period supports continue, Mayor Ergün said, “We will provide 250 ram support to our animal breeders this year within the scope of our Herd Improvement Project in Small Cattle Breeding, which is one of the projects we carried out in cooperation with our Provincial Directorate of Agriculture. We have also started receiving applications regarding this. In addition, we continue to support our bee producers. In this context, we started to receive applications for 'Hive Support for Our Beekeepers'. Following our announcement that we would support 2 thousand hives, we increased our support to 5 thousand hives upon intense demand. "We have also started the distribution of 3 thousand milking hygiene sets for our cattle breeders," he said.
