Uraloğlu said, 'Artificial intelligence technologies enable many tasks that a human can do faster with more data' and added: "In health; in medical diagnosis and treatment processes, transportation; in driverless vehicle technologies, economy; It is used in almost every phase of our lives, from customer service and fraud detection in the financial sector to law, agriculture, education and architecture. "The global economic size of artificial intelligence technologies is expected to exceed 250 billion dollars this year and reach 2030 trillion dollars in 1,8." he said.

Pointing out that the new technology 'artificial intelligence' also brings with it great risks, Uraloğlu said that a strong cyber security infrastructure is needed for the healthy implementation of artificial intelligence projects. Noting that, as the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, they focus on ensuring Turkey's security in the digital field, Uraloğlu said, “We are carrying out an effective fight against cyber threats by establishing national and international collaborations on cyber security through our National Cyber ​​Incident Response Center. I would like to proudly underline that we ensure the cyber security of our country with our applications such as 'Hunter, Azad, Hurricane, Atmaca and Kule', which we developed entirely locally and nationally. “To date, we have prevented countless cyber attacks with our own software.” He made a statement.

"We missed three industrial revolutions, we have no intention of missing the fourth one," said Minister Uraloğlu, adding: "The fuel of the connected world, where everything will be in communication with each other, will be 'data' engine, 'artificial intelligence' roads, 'mobile communication' networks." We will work with all our strength together with all our institutions and organizations in the private and public sector. According to researches; 54 percent of informatics workers, 35 percent of data engineers and 26 percent of data security experts benefit from artificial intelligence. "Countries are also in a technology race for this technology, whose market share is increasing day by day." he said.

Uraloğlu, according to the 'government artificial intelligence index' report published by Oxford Insight in 2023 to reveal how ready governments are in terms of using artificial intelligence in public services; Among 193 countries, Türkiye ranks 47th. He noted that it ranked 2nd among South and Central Asian countries.

Noting that startups related to artificial intelligence technology are rapidly increasing in Turkey, Uraloğlu said, “According to TÜİK 2023 data, 250 percent of startups with 18,5 or more employees in our country use artificial intelligence technologies. In addition, TÜBİTAK BİLGEM Artificial Intelligence Institute has made the 'Artificial Intelligence Ecosystem 2023 Call' in five areas it has determined. In this context, 17 projects received support.” He stated:
