Since the day he took office, Balıkesir; Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Yücel Yılmaz, who has provided over 4,5 million liras of support to producers in 300 years by implementing many projects in order to utilize the agricultural and livestock potential in the best way, said that gray breed breeders will be brought to the district in order to ensure the continuity of the gray breed that is common in the rural areas of Havran and to increase its productivity. will establish a production facility. With the project to be carried out in cooperation with Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality, Havran Municipality, Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry and Havran Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, the scarcity of local breed cattle in the country will be prevented and local gray breeds will go to the whole country from Balıkesir. Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality Rural Services Department donated gray breeds with an average weight of 6 kilograms to 550 producers who provide suitable conditions in Havran, in order to refresh the blood of the animals in the region.
In addition, a total of 6 thousand almonds and a thousand lemon saplings were distributed to farmers in the region who earn their living from fruit production. The Metropolitan Municipality, which procures fruit saplings from producers affected by the earthquake in Hatay, also provides support to producers affected by the earthquake.
THE PRODUCTIVITY OF ALL OUR ANIMALS IN THE REGION WILL INCREASE

Stating that the gray breed is a very valuable and national product, Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Erkan Alkan said:We do not have any native cattle breed other than the gray breed. That's why, with this project, we will develop the gray breed in Havran, Balıkesir, and bring it to a position where it will be available to all of Turkey. We are currently carrying out 46 major projects with our Metropolitan Municipality. We are establishing a Cheese Bazaar in Havran. It will open in 3-4 months. We held the Provincial Directors Meeting last month. Our Minister thanked us for the projects we implemented together with our Metropolitan Municipality in Balıkesir and showed them as an example to other provinces." said.
