Stating that the official opening of the Türkmenbaşı Underpass, which is the longest of the underpasses built by the Adana Metropolitan Municipality, will be held later, but the unofficial opening to traffic took place on the last day of 2023, Mayor Zeydan Karalar made the first transition personally by driving.
Mayor Zeydan Karalar said, “We made a lot of effort to complete the opening of the underpass to traffic in 2023. To prevent our citizens from being victimized, we carried out an unofficial opening and opened it to traffic today. In 2024, we will continue to make very large, meaningful investments that will beautify Adana. We worked with dedication for Adana and we will work the same way. We will continue to work to beautify Adana and reduce traffic and other problems. We are happy to have opened the Türkmenbaşı Underpass to traffic on the last day of the year. On this occasion, I once again congratulate our citizens on the new year. "I wish peace, brotherhood and tranquility in the new year," he said.
