Vegetable and fruit data of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Vegetable and Fruit Wholesale Market for 2023 have been announced.
According to the prepared data, the people of the capital consumed tomatoes among vegetables and watermelon among fruits in 2023.

A total of 2023 thousand 816 tons of products entered the Ankara Vegetable and Fruit Wholesale Market, which has become a safer and healthier environment for both market tradesmen and citizens following the renovation and renovation works carried out by Ankara Metropolitan Municipality on its roof, in 985.
The most consumed fruit in the period between January and December 2023 was watermelon with 85 thousand 416 tons. After watermelon, oranges were preferred with sales of 36 thousand 196 tons and tangerines were preferred with sales of 34 thousand 869 tons.
The most consumed vegetable by Ankara residents was tomato, with sales of 98 thousand 249 tons. Additionally, 66 thousand 143 tons of potatoes and 43 thousand 528 tons of cucumbers were sold.
