Edremit Municipality January Ordinary Assembly Meeting was held in Edremit Municipality Assembly Hall. A total of 27 agenda items, including 19 agenda items and 8 additional agenda items, were discussed and decided at the Edremit Municipal Council meeting. Audit Commission Members were elected at the Assembly meeting. Name requests for the completed parks were referred to the relevant commissions for evaluation. The European champion brought the medal to Edremit.
Edremit Municipality Taekwondo Sports Club athlete Ecrin Çözüm, who became the European Champion at the European Poomsae Championship held in Austria in November, attended the council meeting with her medal. Deputy Mayor Tümdeniz Çelebi and municipal council members congratulated the young athlete, who is also the daughter of Editor-in-Chief İsmail Response, and wished her continued success. Deputy Mayor Çelebi expressed his wish to bring the World Championship to Edremit after the European Championship and stated that he will always be behind the support of Edremit Municipality.
