President Büyükkılıç was welcomed with prayers

Mayor Dr., who started active politics 30 years ago, successfully served as provincial president, member of parliament, and Melikgazi Mayor for 4 terms, and was elected Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor by the will of the nation in the local elections of March 31, 2019. Memduh Büyükkılıç left behind more than 4,5 years of service and investment in the Metropolitan Municipality.

Mayor Büyükkılıç, who never sat in his office during this period and traveled from district to district and neighborhood to neighborhood, was re-nominated by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. President Erdoğan presented the Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Candidate to the current mayor, Dr., at the candidate promotion meeting held in Ankara before the local elections on March 31, 2024. He explained it as Memduh Büyükkılıç.

MAYOR BÜYÜKKILIÇ WAS WELCOME AT ERKİLET BOULVARI

Mayor Büyükkılıç, the candidate of the People's Alliance for Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor, came to Kayseri after the program in Ankara and was welcomed with enthusiasm in the city.

Büyükkılıç, who was first welcomed by the people of Kayseri with a sacrifice on Erkilet Boulevard, said, “We are in Kayseri. I would like to thank our fellow citizens who welcomed us with enthusiasm in Erkilet upon our return from Ankara. "May God make us worthy of you, our valued fellow citizens," he said.

WELCOME PROGRAM AT SEYYID BURHANEDDIN TOMB

Mayor Büyükkılıç then visited the Tomb of Seyyid Burhaneddin, the teacher of Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi, one of the spiritual architects of Kayseri.

Büyükkılıç, who prayed at the tomb of Seyyid Burhaneddin, one of the important spiritual architects of the city, was accompanied by his wife Dr. on this important day. While Necmiye Büyükkılıç and her son Mehmed Enes Büyükkılıç did not leave alone, AK Party Kayseri Provincial Chairman Fatih Üzüm, party organization, district mayors and many Kayseri residents were present at the welcome program.

While Mayor Büyükkılıç greeted the young people who chanted the slogan "Kayseri is proud of you", after the recitation of the Holy Quran, they all prayed together.

Addressing the crowd here, Büyükkılıç said, "I greet and welcome each of you with respect, love and affection in this environment where the friend of Allah, Seyyid Burhaneddin, is present. May God be pleased with you all."

Conveying President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's greetings to the people of Kayseri, Mayor Büyükkılıç said, “Our unity, solidarity, brotherhood and solidarity are our blessing. Kayseri is the city of peace, Kayseri is the city of God-friendly saints and scholars whom we call makarr-ı ulema, makarr-ı saints. Hopefully, we will work together day and night to strengthen our President's hand with the highest vote rate in our city. We will represent Kayseri in Turkey with records. AK Party Kayseri Provincial Chairman Fatih Üzüm stated that they will leave no stone unturned in the field until March 31 and said, "May God bless you.
