Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, which has successfully carried out Sports Ability Measurement and Sports Direction studies at the Athlete Health Performance Test and Analysis Center (SPORTAM) with the vision of supporting sports and athletes, has expanded its sports service area. BESYO, POMEM, PMYO, PAEM AND PÖH

In 2023, Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, School of Physical Education and Sports (BESYO), which provides education in 175 of the 93 universities in Turkey and accepts students with special talent exams, Police Vocational Training Center (POMEM), Police Vocational Schools (PMYO), Police The free special talent exam preparation courses opened for young people by the Chiefs Training Center (PAEM), Police Special Operations (PÖH), Military Schools and Sports High Schools, and Service Promotion Exams attracted great attention this year as well. Young people who prepared for the exams with free special talent exam preparation courses opened by the Metropolitan Municipality thanked Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Tahir Büyükakın for his support.

YOUTH REACHED THEIR GOALS

198 of the 89 students who received training in the Special Aptitude Exam Preparation Courses opened by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality were successful in the physical proficiency exams. At the end of the 2-month preparation course, a total of 17 students, 1 of whom took POMEM, 4 MSÜ, 3 BESYO, 5 Sports High School and 30 PMYO exams, completed all stages and achieved their goals in both educational and professional fields. While 50 trainees out of 20 were eliminated from the Basic Proficiency Test (TYT) exam threshold, 10 trainees who participated in the course did not choose to take the special talent exam. 20 of the 16 trainees who were eligible to take the exam were successful in the physical interview, while 5 trainees passed all stages.
