Ecosystem Will Develop in the Nation's Garden Pond in Kocaeli

Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality's bottom mud cleaning project, which will give life to Izmit Bay and Marmara, continues uninterruptedly. As part of the project, the bay is cleared of mud and the ecological change that will occur in the environment also comes to the fore.

Efforts are also being made to ensure that the pond, one of the symbols of the city and located within the Kocaeli fair, where the National Garden works are currently carried out, will benefit positively from the ecological change that will occur. At the inspection and evaluation meeting held around the pond, the area's attainment of healthier environmental conditions and its transformation into an exemplary recreation area were discussed.
