According to the statement made by the Ministry of National Defense, a "Promotion and Observation Tour" was held at TCG Anadolu by MSÜ Air War Institute Commander Major General Yaşar Kadıoğlu and his accompanying delegation.

As part of the trip, the delegation received information about the features and capabilities of TCG Anadolu and inspected the hangar, flight control center, air defense systems and other elements on the ship.

In his statement after the trip, Major General Kadıoğlu stated that TCG Anadolu is an important force multiplier of the Turkish Armed Forces and said, “The features of the ship will make a significant contribution to the air operation. "We believe that TCG Anadolu will make significant contributions to our country's naval power and security," he said.

The tour was attended by MSÜ Air War Institute Deputy Commander Brigadier General Halil İbrahim Özcan, Air War Academy Commander Brigadier General Mustafa Akyıldız, Air War College Commander Brigadier General Erdoğan Gürbüz and Air War Institute faculty members.

TCG Anadolu has the distinction of being Turkey's first aircraft carrier. The ship, which entered service in 2022, is 232 meters long, 32 meters wide and weighs 58 thousand tons. 1000 personnel can work on the ship.

In addition to air operations, TCG Anadolu can also perform different missions such as submarine warfare, land warfare and electronic warfare. The ship is also equipped with an effective defense system against submarines.
