Metro, metrobus and buses will continue to operate in Istanbul on New Year's Eve. Additional trips were placed on heavy lines. Travel requests will be met with instant tracking. On Monday, January 1, 2024, personalized Istanbul card holders will use the public transportation vehicles operated by IMM free of charge. Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) moved its night trips, which continued throughout the weekend, to the night connecting December 31 to January 1. Additional trips have been added to meet the demands that may arise during heavy lines. In addition, as is the case every year on public holidays, on Monday, January 1, 2024, starting from 00.00 at night (the night from Sunday to Monday and on Monday), public transportation will be available free of charge for personalized Istanbulkart holders in Istanbul. Services on the Metrobus line, which operates 7/24, will continue uninterrupted on the night between December 31st and January 1st. Metrobus vehicles, which will serve every 01.00 minutes from 05.00 to 6 at night, will be increased according to the passenger density. IETT Buses will organize 31 trips with 1 vehicles on 21 different lines on the night between 54 December and 242 January. Spare vehicles and workers will also be allocated.
