What was done in the transformation process?
Karşıyaka Negotiations with beneficiaries, signing of contracts and transfer of title deeds in Ornekkoy are carried out by the personnel in charge of the communication center in the area. Contracts were signed with 97 percent of the right holders. Metropolitan personnel also provide the necessary support to the beneficiaries in the process of removing the restrictions such as liens, mortgages and annotations on their title deeds so that the right holders who have signed the contract can transfer their titles. Rent payments are made for each independent unit until their new residences are delivered to beneficiaries residing in the areas whose tenders have been completed.

When the project, which continues in stages in the Örnekköy Urban Transformation Area, where 6 thousand people live, is completed, a total of 3 residences and 520 workplaces will be built. In the area, a new two-storey market area of 338 thousand 4 square meters, approximately 200 thousand square meters of open and closed parking area, 30 thousand 3 square meters of indoor sports facilities and social areas will be built. 500 thousand square meters of green space and 68 thousand square meters of social reinforcement area will also be added.
What was done step by step?
Izmir Metropolitan Municipality handed over 143 independent units to their beneficiaries in the first stage in Ornekkoy. In the 2,3nd, 4rd and 5th phases of the project, approximately 800 independent units are under construction.
For the 2nd stage, the site was delivered to the contractor company, ground surveys, superstructure application projects and in-island infrastructure application projects were prepared. The existing 72 independent units in the area have been evacuated and the beneficiaries are paid rent assistance until their new residences are delivered. 170 residences and 20 workplaces will be delivered to beneficiaries in 2023.
Within the scope of the 3rd and 4th Stage, İZBETON A.Ş. A protocol was signed by 18 independent units were evacuated, construction continues.
Within the scope of the 5th stage, the site was delivered to the contractor company for approximately 600 independent units. 221 independent units were evacuated, and the demolition of the buildings and the payment of rent aid to the beneficiaries began. Within the scope of the 6th Stage, zoning applications are carried out in the regions where 100% consensus has been reached.

The demolition process for the sealed production in the 48 square meters of the 300 thousand square meter construction area in the third stage in Ornekkoy has also been started.
