Introduced to the market in its 5th generation, Prius has hybrid and plug-in hybrid options. However, the New Prius also managed to make a sound with its completely renewed design. Toyota's iconic wedge shape evolved elegantly and modernly in the 5th generation Prius. This dynamic design made the Prius win the prestigious 2023 Red Dot Design Award.
A signature Prius for more than 25 years, this unique design has been taken to a new level in the new generation with a coupe-style silhouette and sporty touches. A stylish and harmonious atmosphere was created in the cabin, which offers a large living space predominantly in black. The redesigned instrument panel, on the other hand, ensures that all journeys are enjoyable with its ergonomic and comfortable use.
Appreciating the striking design of the Toyota Prius at first glance, the Red Dot Design Awards stand out as one of the largest design competitions in the world, with around 20 thousand applications annually. Innovative designs have been crowned in the categories of 'Product Design', 'Communication Design' and 'Design Concept' for more than 60 years at the Red Dot Design Awards.
After the evaluation of all applications by an international jury consisting of 43 members, the new Prius was awarded the title of 'Best of the Best', the highest award in the 'Product Design' category.
