The nature walk, organized by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality within the scope of World Environment Day and Week events, was held on the route between Tirilye and Esence, which has unique natural beauties.
Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, which gives priority to infrastructure and environmental projects in order to carry Bursa to a healthier future, continues its activities to increase social awareness on the environment without slowing down. Particularly, the Metropolitan Municipality, which spent June 5, World Environment Day and Week with different activities, brought environmentalists together on a nature walk with the contribution of the Tourism and Promotion Branch Directorate under the coordination of the Environmental Protection and Control Department.
A nature walk was held between Tirilye and Esence in order to raise awareness for the protection of nature. Esence was reached after a 55-kilometer walk by passing through Tirilye - Zeytin Flat - Windmill Hill - Kapanca Harbor - Ketendere in the event, which was held with the professional field guide Nazif Makas and 13 people.
Information about the historical values and natural beauties on the route was given to nature lovers by Historian Faruk Kurt, staff of the Tourism and Promotion Branch Office. In the journey that started with the slogan 'Flower is beautiful in its branch', nature lovers acted with the awareness of leaving only their footprints on nature in the direction they walked.
