EHF Europe U17 Beach Handball Championship is held at İnciraltı Sports Facilities, which serves as the center of beach sports of İzmir Metropolitan Municipality. This championship is held with the cooperation of European Handball Federation, Turkish Handball Federation and İzmir Metropolitan Municipality.
The excitement of the championship started today with the group matches. Turkey's national teams lost 2-0 to Ukraine in women and Croatia in men. The group series will continue with matches to be played on Thursday and Friday. On Saturday, the men's and women's teams that will make it to the main draw will be determined. Finals will be played on Sunday.
