The countdown has begun for the 15th Sekapark Golden Belt Oil Wrestling, which is traditionally organized by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality every year. This important organization, which will bring together the valuable chief wrestlers of Turkey in oil wrestling, our ancestral sport, will be held on 10-11 June 2023 at Izmit Athletics Track. The giant organization is organized this year in the name of Karamurselli Kadir Birlik, the legendary name of historical Kırkpınar Wrestling.
VALUABLE PRIME PAHLIVANS OF TURKEY
Work continues at full speed in this important organization that will bring together more than 1.000 wrestlers as well as Turkey's most valuable chief wrestlers by the Youth and Sports Services Department. On the other hand, in the Turkish Oil Wrestling League, which is organized for the first time this year by the Turkish Traditional Wrestling Federation and consists of 7 organizations, the 15th Sekapark Altınkemer Oil Wrestling will be held as the second organization of this league. The wrestlers, who are in the top 2 in the Turkish Oil Wrestling League, will gain the right to participate directly in the Historical Kırkpınar Oil Wrestling.
THEY WILL SHOUT AT ER SQUARE
Turkey's most ambitious wrestlers are expected to participate in the Sekapark Golden Kemer, where the wrestlers will take to the meadow before the historical Kırkpınar Oil Wrestling. The champion head wrestler will also be the owner of Kocaeli Sekapark Golden Belt Oil Wrestling and a specially prepared golden belt decorated with motifs unique to Kocaeli. In addition to the wrestlers who will display their strength and techniques in 14 different sizes in the private square, the head wrestlers will also sweat in the private square.
