On the other hand, gifts consisting of football, basketball and volleyball balls, badminton sets, coordination circles, jump rope and mind games sets were delivered to the schools that ranked in the Inter-School Waste Battery Collection Competition organized by the municipality in the 2022-2023 academic year. More than 2 kilograms of waste batteries were collected in the Inter-School Waste Battery Collection Competition.
Keçiören Mayor Turgut Altınok, who stated that they welcomed the sensitivity shown by the students in environmental cleaning, said, “We collect all kinds of recyclable wastes within our municipality. In this way, we both prevent nature pollution and protect our national wealth in economic terms. We saw that our students collect waste batteries with this awareness.
