China Logistics and Purchasing Federation published the logistics operation data for January-May. The data showed that the recovery in the logistics sector continues. According to the data, the total logistics volume in the first 5 months of the year reached 4,5 trillion 129 billion yuan with an increase of 900 percent on an annual basis. The rate of increase increased by 4 points compared to the first 0,1 months of the year.
While the logistics of industrial products continued to grow steadily, its contribution to total logistics growth remained at the level of approximately 70 percent. A noticeable increase was recorded in import logistics. While the volume of import logistics increased by 11,9 percent annually in the January-May period, this rate increased by 14,1 percent on an annual basis in May. The data also showed that the total revenue in the logistics sector in the first 5 months of the year reached 6,9 trillion 5 billion yuan, an increase of 200 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
