Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality opened Turkey's first Tropical Ladybug Garden with a ceremony held in Gaziantep Wildlife Park.

In the Tropical Ladybug Garden, which will enable the citizens to get to know the ladybugs, which are used in the biological struggle against aphids and cochineal and are appreciated for their natural patterns, 3 species and 7 classes of ladybugs belonging to this species will be exhibited.

Ladybugs, which will continue to be produced, will be used in biological control in the protection of plants in addition to promotion and exhibition.

Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin, AK Party Gaziantep Deputy Abdülhamit Gül, former AK Party Gaziantep Deputy Nejat Koçer, provincial protocol members and citizens attended the opening ceremony of the garden.

President Fatma Şahin, who made a speech at the opening, expressed that May 19 is a resurrection and awakening and wished the opening section to bring good luck.
