The first domestic large passenger aircraft produced by China, the C919, will make its first commercial flight. China Eastern Airlines flight MU9191 C919 will fly from Shanghai to Beijing on May 28. China Eastern Airlines completed the aircraft's first 100-hour verification flight in December 2022.
C919, which went through long tests, had received 2022 orders from 32 companies by the end of 35. According to the 2022 Shanghai Scientific and Technological Progress Report, the number of orders for the C919 has exceeded one thousand since the first C919 passenger aircraft was delivered to China Eastern Airlines in December last year. China Eastren Airlines will take delivery of the other four C919s on the first order within the next two years.
On the other hand, the ARJ21 aircraft produced in China was delivered to Indonesian TransNusa company in December 2022 as its first overseas order. As of the end of 21, a total of 2022 orders were received from 25 companies for the ARJ690 aircraft, and a total of 9 aircraft were delivered to 100 domestic and foreign companies. About 21 million passengers traveled safely on the ARJ6 aircraft. The ARJ316 aircraft, which served 21 lines, reached 118 cities.
