İnci Foundation Child and Youth Orchestra Played for May 19

Inci Foundation Child and Youth Orchestra, where Bornova Municipality brings together children aged 7-18 with music in cooperation with Cevdet İnci Education Foundation, took the stage for the 19 May Atatürk Commemoration, Youth and Sports Day. The concert held at the Bornova Ayfer Feray Open Air Theater presented a musical feast to the participants.

Bornova Mayor Mustafa İduğ, his wife Ufuk İduğ and Cevdet İnci Education Foundation Power Source Ece Elbirlik Ürkmez attended the special event, and the orchestra, which took the stage with 47 children and young people under the direction of Conductor Tolga Akın, hit the notes this time for the 19th Anniversary of 104 May. In the concert, 15 classical works that reflect the holiday enthusiasm of the people of Izmir met with the audience.

In his speech before the concert, President Mustafa İduğ stated that they have accomplished successful works with the Cevdet İnci Education Foundation and said, “Cooperation between institutions is very important. As local governments increase these collaborations, we can bring out such talented children. With this project, which we have completed for 8 years, we are bringing young talents to Turkey. Within the framework of the 19 May Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day celebrations in Bornova, the official wreath laying ceremony of the Youth and Sports District Directorate was held in Bornova Cumhuriyet Square. After the ceremony, representatives of political parties and non-governmental organizations laid wreaths at the Atatürk Monument in the square.
