“Tulipmania” tulip exhibition opened in Gardens-by-the-Bay, one of Singapore's world-famous public parks. In the organization, which is also supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, live tulips brought from Turkey are exhibited with three-dimensional visuals of Galata Tower, Safranbolu houses, Maiden's Tower and Cappadocia.

The exhibition, which was held as part of the 100th anniversary events of the founding of the Republic of Turkey, also includes an exhibition of handicrafts prepared by the Ministry's General Directorate of Research and Education. 53 works of intangible cultural heritage carriers consisting of tulip motif tiles, weaving, marbling, calligraphy, illumination, miniature, copper and needle lace are presented to art lovers.

Making a statement about the exhibition, Research and Education General Manager Okan İbiş stated that they work with the understanding that the most basic condition for keeping a culture alive is to protect and keep alive the practitioners and transmitters of that culture. İbiş stated that by promoting traditional elements to wider audiences through international festivals, they aim to strengthen intercultural dialogue as well as contribute to the cultural economy.

Organized by Turkey for the first time and only Turkey was promoted, “Tulipmania” can be visited until 21 May.
